Haunted Hamilton Gothic Gala
A Great Success!

On December 8th, 2001, Haunted Hamilton held their first ever Gothic Gala. The evening was set to honour Hamilton's most famous ghost, "The Dark Lady" who resides within the walls of the Customs House. To pay homage to the Dark Lady, Stephanie, the Founding of Partner of Haunted Hamilton, put her artistic abilities to good use, and painted a portrait through the psychic interpretation given by HH Resident Psychics, Michele and Kate.

The formal evening featured a homemade dinner served in a gothic-esque setting. Coffee and dessert were then offered after this while everyone mingled.

The later part of the evening featured a first in Hamilton! A group seance was led by the HH Resident Psychic, Michele Stableford. This proved to be interesting as Michele was able to not only sense the infamous Dark Lady that resides in the Customs House, but as well, many other spirits that were attached to certain guests.

The evening ended with a tour of the Customs House, primarily in the basement vault area.

The Gothic Gala was a tremendous success, largely due to the many folks that helped out before, during, and after the event. Much thanks goes out to our right-hand woman Kate Kingston, who helped plan the entire event with us from the beginning. Also a big thank you to Rachelle for bringing the wonderful meatballs, and to Franca for the cheesecake and chocolate cake, and to both of them for helping out with the entire evening. The Dark Lady's tribute shrine was courtesy of Franca and her friend Anna!

We'd also like to thank Kate's husband Andrew for helping with the entire evening...right from set-up until we were leaving at the door!

We'd also like to thank our great friend Mike, who helped out with the evening. He was always there, offering to help in any way he could, and for this we are grateful!

Another thanks goes out to Kate's mom Sue and her friend Erin-Blythe for their help in the kitchen! Thanks guys!

And, last but not least, we'd like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Michele. The seance wouldn't have been possible without her. After the evening, many of you were amazed at how accurate Michele was in certain things, and asked me if she does personal readings. Well yes she does, and you can visit her personal homepage at: www.magikcauldron.com Thanks Mish! You're the greatest!!

And on a final note, we'd like to thank each and every person who attended the Gala and made it a huge success. It was a fabulous time, and it was really great to see everyone all connected during the seance. Thank you to everyone!
