Many
Thanks to Everyone!!!
Wow!!!
What a night! I definitely have to say this year's Costume Ball
was by far the best yet! The turn-out was incredible and we
had at least 160 people come through the doors to party their
ghosts off! :) We would like to take this opportunity to thank
the following people.
-
Ghost
Guides James Pettitt and Lady Jade (Terri Pentlichuk), for
their great dramatic presentation of the evening, and to
James for being the MC for the evening
-
Our
fabulous DJ for the evening, who truly brought down the
house with the most amazing songs!!
-
Ashley
Levac, of Great Glasses in Dundas (and our good friend),
who provided two of our top costume prizes, valued at $200
each as well as providing a $50 gift bag for everyone that
attended the event!
-
Cathy
Lechniak (Steph's mum), for making some of the most fantastic
food (world's best potato salad- hands down!)
-
Steve
Lechniak (Steph's dad) for taking all the fabulous photos
(yes, he was the one who was asking to take your picture
all night for this purpose!) Speaking of which, if you'd
like any prints of the photos you see here, you can e-mail
him to order them! See his photo page
-
John
Howie, for helping us the entire day with all the heavy
lifting and preparations for the entire day (and for doing
the ice runs!)
-
Anna
Pavlacic and Franca Merla for working the bar like nobody
else could. They were amazing at keeping up with everything
and providing us with all the great drinks for the evening!
-
Monica
Mulligan, for all of her help the day of with planning and
preparation.
-
Ian
Walker, of the Workers Arts & Heritage Centre, for his
help thoughout the evening to make sure things ran smoothly.
-
Israel
Simon, for leading the Witching Hour Ceremony in the backyard
to end off the evening.
-
Kate
Kingston and Marcelle Anderson, for their help in decorating
the building to make it extra spooky!
-
The
Hamilton Spectator for helping us advertise the event
-
Last
but not least, to all of you who attended the event. You
guys are what made it a success and for that, we thank you!
