Ghost
Walks at the Hermitage Ruins in Ancaster Tours start at various times
Although
most of what is left of this historic piece of property
in Ancaster is in ruins, the Hermitage is said to be very
much alive with unhappy ghosts from the past. It is one
of our area's more famous and well-known haunts. Come
explore the history of this unique place in Ancaster and
learn about the intersection that is now known as "Lover's
Lane" and why an unhappy coachman hung himself in
the nearby carriage house. Who knows, maybe you just might
see something that you won't be able explain.
