Join us as we embark on our 9th Annual Haunted Niagara Bus Trip, stopping at various haunted locations along the way to Niagara-on-the-Lake! Transportation will be provided by an air-conditioned chartered coach bus taking us to each location on the itinerary!

We will be stopping at all the infamous haunted locations en route to Niagara including The Screaming Tunnel, Drummond Hill Cemetery, the Stone Jug, and a private tour of Fort Mississauga. And new for this trip, to top the evening off, we'll be heading over the border for an exclusive sunset tour and paranormal investigation of the historic and very haunted Fort Niagara in Youngstown, New York! We'll have full interior access to the entire 1726 castle!

The Ghosts of Old Fort Niagara Castle

The French built Old Fort Niagara Castle in 1726. Many ghostly apparitions wander the halls and rooms of this ancient castle. Many have reported seeing candles that are lighten by unseen hands, ghostly shapes without faces, and even a few German shepherd ghosts howling at the moon. Here everyone that visits accepts all these occurrences as normal day-to-day life.

The castle has four floors and on a clear night, you can see the lights of Toronto Canada across the Niagara River. From almost ever corner you can hear the waves beating the shore to give more sound to the spookiness that abounds in doors.

The most popular legendary ghost that haunts Old Fort Niagara Castle is the headless ghost. The headless ghost first began to appear in the 1830’s. As the tale goes, a French officer during a duel lost his head. His body was thrown into the mysterious well. On nights of a full moon, his headless body roams the castle in search of his head.

The chapel is also an eerie place late at night; here heavy benches that are not there are heard being dragged about. Not a great place if you wish to get some quiet and peaceful sleep. The chapel is one room that a criminal could hide for years, since police dogs will not enter.

Not too many people are really brave enough to spend a night or two in Old Fort Niagara since it is on the list of one of the most haunted places in Western New York.

Eerie and creepy sounds, bumps in the nights, lights in the top floor window, and heavy footsteps should be enough to keep those ghost hunters away and allow the spirits to rest in peace.
