The Ouija Diary is a place where we will record our "Ouija Sessions." We seem to always have an interesting experience when using the board, so we decided we would like to share these with you. As you look through the Diary, you will read how we first got into using the Ouija Board. And finally, we don't think the Ouija board is a "game", but rather a powerful tool to communicate with spirits which should not be taken lightly.

How does Haunted Hamilton feel about Ouija?

The Ouija Board is like a dangerous piece of machinery. If the people using it do not have the proper knowledge and protection, then its use can cause a lot of problems. You could be allowing an uninvited ghost into your home and among you family. If it's negative and powerful enough, it can interact with you and actually affect your daily life.

Keeping this danger in mind, you must make sure that the proper protection is taken. We are very serious when using the Board as a communication tool. As a tool it allows even non-psychics to speak with the dead, or can be used by a psychic to re-enforce their visions and/or feelings. Haunted Hamilton will use it for assistance on a rare occasion, but in the most part finds it a slow and sometimes tedious form of communication.

Most people stereotype the Board as a game, this no thanks to Parker Bros., who commercialized and actually sold a version of the Board in many toy stores. The Ouija Board is not a game! It is a serious and powerful tool to be used with extreme caution. It has the ability to open doorways for the spirits to come through, some of them are negative souls and very dangerous.

The Curiosity Overcomes

This article is not written to tell you not to try one. If you are looking to experience all that is Ouija, maybe out of curiosity or you want to feel the planchette move on its own (possibly take part in that rare occurrence of such power that you just can't stop it) then the following are steps needs to take for use of the Board and protection from the spirits.

<How to protect you, your family and your home and perform a clearing if needed>

Always remain in a positive mood throughout the session. If anger is introduced, then you must dismiss the spirit, end the session, and perform a quick clearing on your home. Negativity attracts negativity, and the spirit you receive will be only anger.

Always remain patient with the Board. Frustration with only cause negativity, and you may open communications with the wrong spirit. The positive spirits are there and usually take longer to contact, but if everyone keeps an open mind and stays calm, then you are bound to get good results.

Like the machinery, the Board can be dangerous and can also cause much trouble if used incorrectly. However, if the correct practices are followed and you have the right group of attendees, then the Board can bring a lot of good.

Our habits before a session are ones of high caution and protection. Never see the board as a game. Never let the spirit, attendees, or onlookers bring anger into a session. The Number One rule is protection, protect yourself, your loved ones, your pets, and most of all, your home.
