The rumour has always been that there is an old woman named Grace here [and old anonymous building in Hamilton].

We asked to speak to the spirit who has lived in this house for many years, not by the name we have guessed at. We went through a few spirits, and finally one named Jane came through. She kept saying "Mama" over and over again. I spoke to somone on Saturday who also called me "Mama", but thought nothing of it(personally) until we had asked a few more questions. Then it dawned on us that she was calling me Mama. Jane thinks she is 10 years old.

I asked if something bad happened when she was 10, she said her Mama died. She's been looking for her ever since.

We have a newspaper artical that says a woman named Jane lived here as a child, got married and moved back in. It never mentioned her mother. But when we asked what her mother's name was, she said "Grace"! I explained that her mother must have moved on to another incarnation by now, and asked if Jane had tried to locate her mother's soul (in a new body)...she said yes, she had found her, and that it is me. I was drawn to this building for some reason...Jane kept crying my name "Mama, mama mama", and insists that I am the soul of her mother Grace reincarnated.

She loves to play the piano, and asked to play for me. I asked her if she was waiting for he mama to tell her it was ok to move on to a new incarnation in order to learn more lessons for her soul, etc. She said yes...so I talked to her as a mother would, explaining that all things end breifly, and that she needed to move on to another lifetime in order to grow. She wanted to play the piano one more time. So I sat down at the piano and invited her to play through me. I could feel her enter me, and apparently (according to the others in the room) my fingers began to stretch and twitch, although I could not feel them at the time. I sensed that Jane had never tried to enter another's body, and was frustrated, so we ended the session.

She also told me that she planned to come through to the next life as my sister's child. My sister was there, she works here too. I can feel that Jane has not completely left me...she is not a threat. She is clinging to me as a child would to her mother.

I have no recollection of this past life, but I will not discount the possibility. I may also resemble Grace as she was then. I only hope that Jane accepts that she has permission/needs to move on...
