I worked at a Wendy's in Burlington, Ontario that was haunted. I have many stories to tell, but for now, I'll just tell how the story began. I was working on side cash one day and it was my job to wash dishes (and you usually spent the whole night to catch up because someone always ended up bringing you ten more pounds of dishes after you done!). As I was washing, I heard someone call my name, "Kyla!" It sounded like someone on front line was calling me, so I walked up to front line to find only one person within earshot -- the cook, Kevin. "Did you call me?" I asked. "No," he answered. "Oh," I said confused, "I swore I heard someone call my name." I shrugged my shoulders and went back to the dishes. "Kyla!" I heard it again. I walked up to the front and snapped at Kevin, "Is this some kind of joke! If it is, I am not laughing! You're really starting to piss me off!" "Kyla, I have no idea what you are talking about!" Kevin snapped back, "I swear, I'm not calling you." He was so adament that I knew he was telling me the truth. I went back to the dishes, thinking I was losing my mind. "Kyla!" I kept hearing it over and over again. I was more annoyed than anything else. I wanted to know who was calling me. Then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a person (looked like a boy), small in stature with dark hair walk behind me and head toward the back change rooms. Thinking it was another employee named Daniel, I went back to talk to him about something; but when I got back to the change room, there was no one there. "Kyla!" I heard it again! It almost sounded like someone was calling me from a distance, but there was no one around and everyone denied calling my name when I asked them. That was in 1989. I knew at that moment, we at Wendy's were not alone. Many other haunting stories about Wendy's to come if you like!
I believe I caught him [ the ghost ] on camera once. I shot this photo because I was "shocked" the dining room was actually clean. It was a joke. There was no one in the dining room with me, but this male image showed up in my shot. There was also no one outside and he had done some things before at that window.
