I have many other experiences with our Wendy's ghost! This one is one of the more humourous ones, though at the time, it made me quite nervous! I was working up at the cash register on this slow evening shift. Before fast food restaurants were computerized (for all you youngins out there!), the front cashier would call out the customer's order over a microphone. Anyway, I was just standing there, minding my own business, when all of the sudden, I seemed to lose control of my limbs. My head filled with fuzz and I grew very, very dizzy! Without thinking and without telling my body to do so, I lunged toward the microphone and was about to start singing. Just at that moment, I seemed to regain control of my body and threw the microphone out of my hands in an exaggerated and melodramatic way. The manager saw this and just began to stare at me. I was panting and sweating as I slowly stepped away from the microphone. The manager asked, "What was the meaning of that?" "I don't know," I stumbled over my words, "All of the sudden, I felt out of control. All I wanted to do was grab the microphone and sing 'Heartbreak Hotel' by Elvis Presley!" "'Heartbreak Hotel?'" my manager asked. "Yeah," I said nervously, "It was like an uncontrollable impulse. I had to sing it; but I stopped myself in time." My manager walked away from me, shaking her head, "You are too weird girl!" I have been told by a couple of psychics that I have the ability to be a medium if I so choose, but I don't know if that idea appeals to me too much. But I told my dad about what happened and he joked that was the day Elvis passed through me! Years later, I was talking to another friend who later became aware of the ghost as well and I told her about the incident. She then told me that it would make sense somewhat to have something like that happen at that restaurant because long, long before it was a Wendy's, apparently, it was one of those drive in restaurants where the waitresses on roller skates would serve you in your car. "The timing with that song would be right!" she said. Maybe the ghost at Wendy's was a former employee or customer at that restaurant! No one knows for sure!!!!! Please
