Forces I had been eager to take part in the ghost walk that takes place at Fort George. After a lot of convincing, I got my boyfriend to accompany me on this paranormal excursion. I was wide-eyed, open-minded, and determinded to see, hear, or feel a ghost. Of course, to my disappointment, I didn't get any of that. However, one thing during the tour caused my hair to stand on end. Once my boyfriend and I were well into the tour my boyfriend leaned over to me and said, "I feel so sick. All of a sudden my stomach just started hurting." I thought that was pretty odd. My boyfriend is a big skeptic and doesn't believe in ghosts or anything like that, so I knew he wasn't sick because he scared. Nevertheless,
I kept my mouth shut and we went on with the tour. Further and further
into the Fort my boyfriend felt more and more sick. At one point during
the tour, right at a very haunted building with a very violent past,
my boyfriend moaned about The tour
ended shortly after and as we walked towards the front gates of the
Fort my boyfriend leaned over to me and said, "I don't know what
happened, I feel totally fine." My heart skipped a beat. I told
him that it was normal to feel sick at a haunted place because people
often pick up the negative energy that is created when there is a
lot of violence and death in a particular area. Needless
to say, he is now a believer in the paranormal. Ever since we left
the Fort he had never felt that sickness again. Was it a coincidence?
Or did he feel the anguish of the dead soldiers at Fort George? Please
note that we do not change reader's submissions. |
